About Cameroon

Cameroon lies on the Gulf of Guinea in Central Africa, with Yaounde as its political capital and Douala as its main seaport. Often called Africa in miniature, it ranges from coast and rainforest to mountains and savanna, topped by Mount Cameroon at 4,095 metres. Both French and English are official languages, and Paul Biya has led the country since 1982.
