How to play Atlas Daily

  1. Read the clue. Each round is a place to find: usually a country, sometimes a famous site such as Machu Picchu.
  2. Turn the globe. Drag to rotate; pinch or scroll to zoom. There are no names or borders to help you.
  3. Place your pin. Tap where you think the answer is, then choose Lock in. You can cancel before committing.
  4. Ask for another clue if needed. You have up to five, from hardest to easiest. A correct final-clue answer can still earn half the round's maximum. Hard mode, in the menu's settings, removes the fifth clue.
  5. Discover the answer. Read its story, then continue through all five rounds.

When does the puzzle change?

A new daily starts at midnight UTC. Everyone plays the same daily, and the result card shows a countdown. Your browser remembers unfinished rounds.

What if I miss a day?

Finish yesterday's puzzle from the archive today and your streak survives. Miss it for longer and your current streak resets, but your longest streak and lifetime stats remain. The free archive lets you play any of the previous 30 days. Every finished day’s clues and answers are on the past puzzles page.
