About Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda is a twin-island Caribbean state of about 440 square kilometres, fully independent from Britain since 1 November 1981. Tourism supplies more than half of its economy, and Nelson's Dockyard was made a World Heritage Site in 2016. Hurricane Irma destroyed most of Barbuda's buildings in 2017.
