About Kosovo

Kosovo is a landlocked Southeast European country that declared independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008. Its capital and largest city is Pristina, and roughly 92 percent of its people are ethnic Albanians. Its story runs from Roman Ulpiana and the 1389 Battle of Kosovo to Visoki Dečani monastery and the wine town of Rahovec.
