About Norway
Norway occupies the western and northernmost part of the Scandinavian Peninsula, with Oslo as its capital and largest city. Tradition dates the unified kingdom to Harald Fairhair in 872, and the modern state adopted its constitution on 17 May 1814. Today it is known for its fjords, its petroleum and gas exports, and the world's largest sovereign wealth fund.
