About Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a landlocked southern African country lying between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers, with Harare as its capital and largest city. Medieval Shona builders raised the dry stone city of Great Zimbabwe, which gave the nation its name. Independence came in 1980 under Robert Mugabe, who ruled until a 2017 coup brought Emmerson Mnangagwa to power.
