About Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein is a doubly landlocked Alpine microstate of just over 160 square kilometres between Austria and Switzerland, with Vaduz as its capital. Created as an imperial principality in 1719, it has been reigned over by Prince Hans-Adam II since 1989 and uses the Swiss franc. It has no army, no airport and more Olympic medals per capita than any other nation.
